Try.decidim.org answers the question people ask before anything else: what does Decidim actually look
like? It is a complete, working platform, filled with demo content — participatory processes, assemblies,
a participatory budget, debates and proposals — so that every feature has something to show.
What makes it unusually useful is that the admin panel is open too. The site prints
the credentials in its own top bar, so you can see the side of Decidim an administrator works in, not
just the public pages. Most demos hide exactly that half.
The trade-off is that it is shared with everyone else trying it at the same time, and the content is
disposable. Treat it as a showroom: fine for exploring and demonstrating, never a place to put real
data or to judge how a tuned production instance performs.
This site, Decidim 101, is our own take on the same idea — a sandbox, but one carrying Platoniq's
instances and the modules we maintain.
